poetry.
Hold me tight.
I felt the warmth,
A rush of heat came forth.
I heard my heart melt from its frozen chambers.
Frozen since as long as I could remember.
It plugged the hole in my chest,
Tonight I can peacefully rest.
I wondered to myself,
Can this last forever?
I wanted to hold on tight,
With that warmth tonight.
Because it made me fly,
I didn't want to say bye.
I thought my heart was dead,
but I heard it smash through the gate.
Hold on tighter,
it made my heart seem lighter.
Close your eyes and watch this fairytale happen,
as my flooded eyes, you dampen.
I wondered to myself,
Can this last forever?
